Nikolaev - economical center of Nikolaev region
Nikolaev Ukraine is a city in the south of the state, the administrative center of the Nikolaev region.
Geographical position
Nikolaev Ukraine is located in the south of the steppe zone of Ukraine. It is situated on a peninsula which is washed by the rivers of the Southern Bug and Ingul.
The city territory is 260 km ?.
Ecology
Environmental problems are typical of many cities like Nikolaev Ukraine: water pollution, air pollution, groundwater, drinking water quality, noise, waste management, biodiversity conservation in the city.
One of the most acute problems is the issue of solid waste.
